Ha! How lovely it would be to see some LBOYB and BCC ladies along Beach Rd on Thursday March 10th, cheering the team off and wishing them a safe and enjoyable trip! π
Youβll be particularly recognisable in your LBOYB or BCC jersey!

So, as today is Saturdayβ¦hereβs what NEXT Saturday (Day 3 of KBY ride ) includes.
It will see us leave Apollo Bay and climb a hill or 3, look for a few apostles whom I think have drowned and generally love the ride by the coast to Port Campbell.
Today will be the biggest climbing day of the whole ride, 1695m in total.
First climb begins straight away, 10km of steady ascent, then back downhill to the Aire valley. Main climb up to Lavers Hill then, about 15 km but with some nice small down hill sections. Beautiful descent to Princetown, then look for the missing Apostles and visit Loch Ard Gorge.
Because it will be the Saturday of the long weekend, accom has been somewhat tricky β¦weβve all got a bed, and will be looking forward to it, after a yummy meal cooked by our resident Chef, Mandy Pearson!
The reason for the ride is to support a Charity that one of our members, Alison Yung, has close to her heart.
No money is being made by LBOYB or BCC for this ride/adventure/trip.
So, of course, all monies donated go directly to the Kathryn-Browne Yung Charity.
https://kbyfoundation.org.au/So, if youβd like to support this Charity please do so. Michael Yung (Charity founder and person responsible for the Charity web site, ) assures us all donations are tax deductible and donors will in time be acknowledged for their donation in name (only, not $) on the web site and forwarded a tax receipt.
